Vegetable oil

Chicken eggs

Method of preparation

To begin, sift the flour. This step is essential: sifted flour will give the pastry a light and airy texture

Mix the sugar and eggs with a spoon, add vegetable oil, and start beating. Start at low speed, then increase it gradually. You should achieve a thin batter with a layer of air on top

Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift it once more, then add it to the mixture

Grate the carrots finely; the cake will be tastier if you mix the vegetable thoroughly with the batter to create an even orange mixture

Preheat the oven and bake the cake in a large pan for 45-50 minutes. If you decide to make carrot muffins, reduce the baking time to 15-20 minutes
