Wheat flour of the highest grade

250 g

Eggs

Vodka

2 tablespoons

Salt

2 pinches

Sugar powder

Method of preparation

In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, vodka, and salt. When the mixture slightly whitens, sift the flour into the bowl and knead the dough until it becomes slightly sticky

Shape the dough into a ball and refrigerate it for 30 minutes

Divide the chilled dough into several portions and roll each portion into a thin sheet

Cut the sheets into long strips, about 4-5 cm wide, and then cut each strip into 2-3 pieces

Make a slit in the middle of each rectangle and pull one side of the rectangle through the hole

Place the resulting “hvorost” into hot oil and fry for about 30 seconds on each side

Transfer the finished “hvorost” to a large bowl and dust with powdered sugar
