Fire Safety Training by Borisov City Emergency Situations Department at the Enterprise

On September 25, 2023, at the premises of the Borisov Bakery Plant, fire safety exercises involving emergency and rescue units from the Borisov City Emergency Situations Department (Borisov GROCHS) were conducted.

According to the scenario of the exercise, a fire broke out on the upper floor of elevator No. 1, and the fire spread to the roof of the elevator.

During the exercise, members of the company’s fire brigade and emergency rescue units from GROCHS were involved.

Chura M.M. and Kalechits D.V. set up a fire column and connected a hose to the dry pipe.

Baryshnikov I.V., Kondratovich Yu.A., and Mikulovich K.S. operated on the roof of the elevator.

In total, 10 units of GROCHS equipment were involved in “fire extinguishing” at the elevator: 1 command vehicle, 1 AKP-48 vehicle, and 8 fire trucks with standard combat crews.

The AKP-48 automotive articulated lift was used in the firefighting operation on the roof of the elevator.

According to the Chief Specialist in Fire Safety, Civil Defense, and Emergency Situations of the enterprise, Baginsky L.A., the exercise achieved its goals: members of the fire brigade practiced firefighting actions, and the emergency rescue units of Borisov GROCHS gained experience in firefighting at an explosive and fire hazardous facility and familiarized themselves with the location of the facility and the features of firefighting. He also noted that similar exercises and training will be planned and conducted with other structural units of our enterprise in the future.
