Let’s start by preparing the dough. Take a bowl and place melted butter, sour cream, and sugar in it. Mix the mixture well to make it homogeneous. Add sifted high-grade wheat flour and baking powder. It’s better to add the flour gradually. After adding all the flour, knead the dough thoroughly. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 40-50 minutes
2
After the specified time, take out the dough and place it on a floured surface. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. While we work on rolling out the first portion, keep the rest of the dough in the refrigerator. Shape the dough into a circle and roll it out to a thickness of 4-5 mm. Cut it into 8 equal parts. They should be in the shape of triangles. Take the jam and spread a thin layer on each piece. If the jam is thick, apply it to the wider end in a small amount
3
Starting from the wider end, carefully roll each piece to form beautiful crescent shapes. Repeat the same process with the rest of the dough
4
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with a small amount of oil. Place our crescent rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with beaten egg for a nice golden color
5
Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for 30-40 minutes. Once the time is up, remove from the oven, place them on a plate, and dust the tops with powdered sugar. The dish is ready!
